Who we need and why you should work with Katie

Katie Liang our Marketing Manager is looking to add a Marketing Specialist to her growing marketing team. This is a very important role, as you’ll be responsible for driving LOGiQ3’s marketing campaign strategy and execution, delivering increased customer awareness, acquisition and engagement. This role is equal parts events and content marketing. The Marketing team focuses on inbound lead generation by optimising the lead nurturing processes through the development of high-impact, engaging, and educational industry content. In addition, the Marketing Specialist will lead aspects of event management at the conferences we attend and networking events. This is a role where creativity meets business results.

Upcoming and ongoing project work for our Marketing Specialist include:

  • Lead and develop integrated marketing campaigns that will drive engagement.
  • Increase our brand awareness and ensure alignment on branding, messaging and overall business goals.
  • Develop retention strategies to create client loyalty and advocacy.
  • In collaboration with the sales team, develop effective email and outreach strategies to drive the use of available sales tools, ultimately increasing lead conversion.
  • Reimagine and optimise our content marketing and social strategies.
  • Manage our events strategy to generate leads, opportunities and customers.

Katie might be viewed as the office momager, with her open-door policy and caring personality; but, she is also the mentor and coach any marketing person will be happy to work with. From giving you the freedom and autonomy to create your own campaigns and work plans to offering you professional guidance and advice on strategy and approach, Katie is here to help you grow. You are a Marketing Coordinator or Specialist with three plus years of experience. You may have worked in a corporate environment, PR company or marketing agency. You were drawn to marketing as a way to channel your extroverted personality and your creativity and knack for storytelling. You are driven to find ways to solve complex challenges by finding and applying data-driven insights to lead marketing strategies. You think outside of the box and take ownership of projects from start to finish. You aren’t afraid of conflict and in fact, you thrive in working cross functionally with different personality types.

As our new Marketing Specialist, you will create, promote and manage:

  • Marketing plans. You will manage marketing and lead development campaigns, contributing to campaign execution planning, understanding objectives and target markets.
  • Multiple concurrent projects. You will develop marketing project plans and manage the day-to-day development and coordination with internal teams, external teams, and vendors from initiation to execution and follow-up.
  • Content creation. You will create and deliver insightful content to increase demand generation, promote thought leadership and engage strategic partners through influential curated and created content.
  • Editorial calendar. You will lead the development, editing, and publication of content provided by team members from across the organisation according to the editorial calendar.
  • Email and lead campaigns. You will manage contact lists (segmentation, lead score assignment, life cycle stages) and personalise emails/campaigns based on recipient’s interests and needs). You will identify and optimise segmented profiles and target lists as part of automated email campaigns.
  • Digital marketing and online presence. You will update, optimise and maintain our website. You will increase blog subscribers, newsletter subscribers, and social media reach by implementing inbound strategies such as creating targeted email campaigns, being active on social media, increasing use of SEO, etc.
  • Brand awareness. You will build and maintain marketing collateral for sales and presentations in a consistent format that represents our corporate brand. You will develop automated marketing campaign standards and processes.
  • Market awareness. You will research, build, and develop innovative marketing initiatives to support growth strategies nationally and globally.
  • Promotional activities. You will execute holistic marketing campaigns to promote growth and go-to-market strategies including print, electronic media, and tradeshow attendance.
  • Reporting. You will own and maintain site analytics, metrics, and campaign reporting. You will work closely with sales to understand how our marketing activity turns into customers and continually refine our process to convert customers.
  • Budgeting. You will deliver results of marketing objectives within the designated and agreed budgets.

So, how do we know you are the next Marketing Specialist? You have:

  • The education. A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or a related discipline.
  • The experience. You have 3 years in marketing and communications. You have experience:
    • Designing and rolling out successful marketing and sales campaigns.
    • Managing successful social media campaigns. You have a solid understanding of social marketing and using tools such as HubSpot or Marketo.
    • Using an Inbound Methodology.
    • Working under pressure on multiple projects simultaneously. Ideally, you have experience at fast-paced of a marketing agency, a PR firm or a startup.
  • The motivation and the curiosity. You want to learn and do more. You are looking for an opportunity where you can be creative, solve problems and see the contribution you make to the team and the company.
  • The communication skills. You have outstanding verbal, presentation and relationship building skills. You know how to work with any level of internal and external client. You love to write and you enjoy finding the perfect image or graphic to portray or enforce messaging.
  • The passion. You want to grow your career in Marketing at a company where you can channel your creativity, innovation and design-sense. You are passionate about building and nurturing a trusted brand and customer loyalty.
  • The technical skills. You have intermediate-level experience with the Adobe Suite, MS Office, Wordpress, and HTML. You have a solid understanding of web metrics and digital analytics, with the ability to generate, analyse and interpret data.
  • The personality. You are incredibly organised, approachable, energetic, enthusiastic, curious and fun. You are a team player, a collaborator and an independent thinker.
  • The flexibility. You are happy to jump in where needed.
